Hi Jake, Yes, I am seeing the same issue. I just wanted to rerun the tool in case any tiles were missed and it started going through every tile and recreating it.

Yes, I explicitly set it as either the web map extent or the current map extent in the builder, but it won't zoom to that extent on other machines. It may not be the aspect ratio. It may be the height. It's like it doesn't accurately understand that the extent it's supposed to display is not completely visible. Here's what I mean. The app below was just refreshed. It is on my machine where I configured the web app, but the browser window was made smaller. The map features are cut off. When fully maximized on my machine, it looks like this. I understand the browser window may change size, but I would think the initial app extent should always be visible on load.

In general, I have noticed that web applications built using ArcGIS Online and WAB Developer Edition both have the following problem. If you set the initial extent of the app on one machine, the app may be zoomed in or out one level of detail on another machine. I've seen this so many times and I believe it is due to differing aspect ratios of the monitors. My monitor has a 4:3 aspect ratio, so I'm the odd man out. Intuitively, the app zoom level should be the largest LOD that completely displays the initial extent. If the map does not contain the initial extent, then something is wrong. If it is zoomed out unnecessarily far, then something is wrong. This seems like it should be a well-known issue. Could anyone please explain it at a detailed technical level? I think it may have to do with the fixed LODs of WAB.

Good Morning Jennifer, I will be honest with you. It's been a long time since the DevSummit and I haven't used Experience Builder since then. As best as I can remember, there were various issues related to our network settings that were making it difficult to setup at work. It would probably take a lot of troubleshooting to figure out. However, I believe there is an offline installation process that you can follow that works perfectly. You can also try to do the setup on your home computer without all of the network restrictions and it will work properly. I believe I did the offline installation at the office before going to the DevSummit and then retried the online installation at the DevSummit and it worked on the conference wi-fi.

We're designing an application with a popup widget that displays in a docked panel versus on the map. To make the user experience more friendly, I'm looking for an alternative name other than "Popup". In ArcGIS Pro, it would be called "Explore". I came up with "Inspect" as well. In our app, there is a clear distinction between selecting features on the map and exploring the features and their related records versus clicking on one feature on the map and viewing its attribute data and its related records. Both are fairly complex and necessary based on the business requirements, but I'm looking for a term that distinguishes the two.

嗨@ShenganZhan,利用ArcGIS Pro 2.9.2我。如果you are an Esri employee, I can share some of the data with you. I decided to start over again from scratch. I am currently calculating statistics and building pyramids on the source images to see if that helps. I don't have the specific settings I used anymore. I pretty much created the mosaic dataset, added rasters, defined overviews, and built overviews. Statistics were already present on the images and I recalculated them. The source images and overviews are stored on a NAS. The file geodatabase is local to my machine. I would have to give you the details when I try again. Thanks, Nathan The first time around I created the mosaic dataset, added the source rasters, defined overviews, and then built overviews.

我建立一个从瓦orthophot镶嵌数据集os. After building the overviews, I noticed there are some overviews on the edges that are black images (white on the map). When I zoom in, the actual source images appear. Any ideas why these overviews are black and not the rest? It's just a few areas of the margin. Thanks, Nathan

Thanks @rburke. That's what I was trying to say when I said combine, namely have a single folder at the root of the project that contains all of those system folders.

I just noticed that with ArcGIS Pro 3.0, there is yet another system folder in ArcGIS Pro project folders, namely GPMessages. There are the following system folders in my brand new project and I believe there are even more out there once you start using it: .backups GPMessages ImportLog Index My suggestion is to combine all of those folders into a single folder. They're a nuisance when it comes to source control and you have to make exceptions for every new folder that pops up when you use a project and perform an action. I have to put the projects I used for publishing into source control. Also, it's annoying to look into a project folder and half of the items are something I don't care about.

I think the point is that some people experience this issue and others don't. Reproducing it is as simple as opening ArcGIS Pro and switching to another application while it loads, but you have to do it on certain machines. Since we don't know what is different about our machines, we can't provide steps to reproduce the problem on an arbitrary machine.
