I'm new in this. I have the AMDB data and I'm trying to load the data and I've not been successful. Can you share the training manual or offer to guide me step by step?

嗨Bentorio,职业没有功能Builder tool like in ArcMap. We are evaluating what tools Pro already has and we welcome user feedback on needs. Pro has a Construct Geodetic editing tool which may be helpful to you for creating features like airspace: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/editing/construct-geodetic-features.htm For linking features in relationships, Pro (similar to ArcMap) has 'Add Selected to Relationship' context option on the Attributes window, see https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/editing/edit-feature-relationships.htm The aviation team would be interested in learning about specific needs from users. If you have specific Feature Builder functions needed in Pro, please submit these as ideas at //www.gamepadva.com/t5/arcgis-aviation-ideas/idb-p/arcgis-aviation-ideas Thanks!

Hi Bentorio, That is a nice set of extensions! The Production Mapping license would support the Calculate Max Elevation Figures tool in Pro as it does in ArcMap. I heard that this tool was only put into the 2.9 builds late last week and Pro 2.9 is not yet in beta testing for Early Adopters. I think if you are signed up for Early Adopter, and get selected, you will receive an email with the information on how to access and test the software.

Hello, There does not appear to be any text formatting tags, to handle this situation. I think you would need to use a font with the Overline already included. ArcGIS for Aviation includes some PLTS Outline fonts, but none that have the outline only on the top. Maybe you can find or create a font for this. David

Thank you for your answer Jonathan! All of my data is in the local drive not on the network. I have follow your instruction an I just fond that this problem with my old arcmap file only. If I start arcmap and create a new map this problem does not appear maybe I have to create a new one.

One important thing that you will need to do when loading your AIS geodatabase, is to populate the GFID fields on the feature classes and tables. See Populating the GUID field—Help | ArcGIS Desktop . If using the ImportAixm51 or ImportAixm45 functions, this is done for you. But if you are populating it by other means (I suggest ArcGIS Data Interoperability extension if you will repeat the process) You would need to ensure the GFID fields are populated since they are used by tools and by relationship classes. You would populate the Airspace feature class; think of that as the actual data. AirspaceLine and AirspaceArea are populated for chart specific cartography by tools. You would use these tools further down the implementation process, once the data is loaded/edited and you are configuring chart products. see: Airspace line creation—Help | ArcGIS Desktop Airspace area creation—Help | ArcGIS Desktop

From your other question from today, I see that you are getting the AIS data model applied to a geodatabase. This is the best way to proceed before getting into label/anno creation. There is a production procedures guide in the help which you should see, assumes the AIS data model to implement and build upon. please see: AIS chart production—Help | ArcGIS for Desktop You will see that the AIS data model has aeronautical feature classes and has cartographic feature classes (their names have '_C' appended). The aeronautical feature classes can be populated using the ImportAixm51 function if you have AIXM 51 data -or loaded by ETL or manually. CartoCommander is used to populate the cartographic feature classes. VST is used to populate the label fields in the cartographic feature classes. Create Feature Linked annotation tool is used to populate annotation classes (which need to be user created) from the cartographic features. There is a lot of configuration in order to get all these pieces to work. But once implemented, chart production is highly automated.
